As August approaches, the Pre-Season, A Call to Adventure, comes to a close, and a brand-new season begins. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the Abyss of Dungeons during the last season.

A major update arriving on August 6 is packed with content many of you have been eagerly waiting for. 
Please check the schedule below for maintenance details, and take a look at the exciting changes coming your way!

[New Season Update]
◈ Thanks to your incredible support, the new Pre-Season, A Chilling Harmony, is about to begin!


  • Period: August 6, 2025 - October 1, 2025 00:00:00

  • A new season ranking will begin alongside new seasonal objectives. Achieve a high Adventure Rank to earn special rewards!

    • New Season Challenge Objective: League's Finest - Finish in the top 10 of the Platinum League or higher x1

  • A special mission event has also been added to celebrate the release of the new Bard class.

    • Mission Type: With the Bard

    • PvP Mission Type

  • Season Coins will be awarded based on your activity in the previous season. Use these coins to purchase valuable items from the Season Shop.

  • Content Reset upon New Season:

    • The following content will be reset with the new season.

      • Character Level and Stats

      • Gold or Darksilver Coins, Battle Passes, Season Coins, Pass Coins, Sands of Memories, and Guild Coins

      • Soulstones, equipped items, and certain items stored in your bag and stash (including unclaimed items in the Mailbox and Trade)

      • Various rankings, season collection, event collection, and mercenary level

      • Adventure Rank

        • Your rank for the new season will start 10 tiers below the rank you achieved in the previous season.

          • For example, if you ended the season at Gold 3, you will start the next season at Bronze 3.

  • Non-Reset Items:

    • The following items will not be reset.

      • Content unlocked through quests or quest completions (Adventure/Shadow Realm)

      • Escape Stones, Silver Powder, Platinum Coins, Mileage, Skin Tickets, General Collections, and non-seasonal Bag and Stash Expansions

      • Royal Crowns, Crowns, Blood Diamonds, and Diamond Reward Chests

      • Skeins, skins, emotes, poses, profile images, and profile frames

  • New Season Pass

    • A new Season Pass has been added. Obtain Mimic Skin, Mimic Profile Pic, Mimic Frame, and two permanent Pose items through the Pass.

    • The Damp Mimic Cloak and Gentle Mimic Shield can be purchased from the Pass Shop.


[New Class: Bard]

◈ The long-awaited moment has arrived! Introducing the new Bard class, sure to be the highlight of the upcoming pre-season, A Chilling Harmony. Presenting the Bard, the magic support class that overwhelms the enemy  with beautiful melodies that will echo through the battlefield!

"Wanderers who traverse the world with instruments as their companions have arrived, filling the dungeon with the rhythm of drums and enchanting melodies never heard before. Wherever they pass, people are bewitched into dancing until they collapse and meet their end."


◈ Bard Traits

  • The Bard is a strategic class that takes on diverse roles in combat depending on the instrument they wield.

    • Strengthen allies and weaken enemies with the drum,

    • unleash powerful magic and provides crowd control with the flute,

    • or heal and protect your team with the lyre. This class holds infinite potential to turn the tide of battle.

  • Reaching account level 6 will allow you to create a Bard and embark on a unique adventure.

  • The Bard performs music when using skills, activating a rhythm game.

    • A transparent line appears on each successfully hit note during the rhythm game.

    • At the end of the performance, your results are rated as Poor, Good, or Perfect based on the number of successful notes. Hitting more notes increases your performance grade, boosting the power of your skill!

Festive Frenzy
  • Lasts for 5 sec after performing. Inflicts dance on all characters within 5 m except for the user. Dance is removed after the performance ends.
    • Dance: Forces target to dance against their will. Deals damage equal to 1/3/5% of max health every 1 sec. Afflicted targets become immune to dance for 5 sec.

Piercing Shrill
  • Each successful note hit while performing fires 1 note that tracks enemies. The notes explode on hit, dealing damage equal to 30% of magic power to all enemies within 2 m. Fires 1, 3, or 5 additional notes that track enemies after performing. Each deals damage equal to 60% of magic power.


Shriek of Weakness
  • Each successful note hit while performing fires a soundwave that tracks enemies. The soundwave pierces enemies and shields, dealing damage equal to 75% of magic power and staggering targets (Up to 3 times). Once the performance is completed, unleashes a powerful soundwave that deals damage equal to 130/140/150% of magic power and knocks targets back.


Reflective Melody

  • Decreases magic damage taken by all allies within 5 m by 20/30/40% for 5 sec and deflects magic attacks in a random direction after performing. (Being hit by an attack removes the effect.)


Drum
Exciting Rhythm

  • Increases move speed and attack speed by 5/10/15% for all allies within 5 m for 15 sec after performing.

Protective Rhythm

  • Grants immunity to all allies within 5 m for 6/8/10 sec after performing.

    • Immunity: Prevents stun, freeze, fear, taunt, bind, move speed reduction, poison, and dance.


Stony Cadence

  • Decreases physical damage taken by 50/70/90% for all allies within 5 m for 6 sec after performing. It decreases health recovery from consumables and skills by 100%.


Martial Cadence

  • Summons Burst Drums that last for 3 sec for all allies within 5 m after performing.

    • Burst Drum: Explodes 3 sec after being placed. Decreases move speed and attack speed of enemies within 3 m by 50% for 3/5/7 sec.


Lyre

Chorus of Clarity

  • Lasts for 5 sec after performing. Recovers health equal to 1% of max health every 1 sec plus additional health equal to 4/5/7% of magic power for all allies within 5 m.


Shield of Chords

  • Lasts for 7 sec after performing. Summons a barrier that absorbs 10/20/30 damage and increases physical defense and magic resistance by 30/40/50 every 1 sec for allies within 5 m.


Repose

  • Lasts for 4 sec after performing. Recovers 1/3/5% of skill cooldowns for all allies within 5 m every 1 sec. Does not affect Repose's cooldown.


Song of Shadows

  • Lasts for 6 sec after performing. Grants Invisibility to all allies within 5 m every 2 sec.

    • Invisibility: Grants Invisibility for 1/1.5/2 sec and increases move speed by 30%.

  • Performs flute skills automatically without note inputs. Performance quality will be counted as "Good".

Bewitching Melody

  • Each successful magic attack has a 15% chance to confuse the target for 1.5 sec. Confusion reverses controls.

Protection of Melody

  • Decreases physical damage taken by 30% while performing music.

Dancing Feet

  • Increases move speed by 20 while holding an instrument.

Fermata

  • Increases the duration of buffs by 20%.

Enhanced Instrument

  • Increases physical power by 30% when holding an instrument. Knocks targets back when using basic attacks with an instrument.

Pulsing Might

  • Increases strength by 10 when equipped with a drum.

Withering Cadence

  • Decreases physical defense of enemies within 5 m by 5% every 1 sec for up to 5 sec. (Max stack: 5)

Enchanted Pitch

  • Increases magic bonus by 10% when holding an instrument.

Healing Melody

  • Increases healing by 20%.

Protective Tune

  • Increases barrier damage absorption of Shield of Chords by 20.

Stony Edge

  • Changes Stony Cadence to Stony Edge.

    • Stony Edge: Increases damage dealt by all allies within 5 m by 10/15/20% for 10 sec after performing.

Explosive Drum
  • Changes Martial Cadence to Explosive Drum.

    • Explosive Drum: Summons Blast Drums that last for 3 sec for all allies within 5 m after performing.

      • Blast Drum: Explodes 3 sec after being placed, dealing damage equal to 80/100/120% of physical power to enemies within 3 m.

[New Content: Mercenary Dispatch]

◈ Mercenary Dispatch allows you to send out mercenaries to collect loot!

  • Reaching account level 3 will allow you to form a Mercenary Dispatch team.

  • You can now form a dispatch team to explore various Darkest Regions.

  • Dispatches consume mercenary condition points and run for a set duration. Exploration time varies based on the condition cost.

  • The loot you can acquire will vary depending on how your team is set up. If you're lucky, you might even obtain bonus loot!


◈ How to Set Up a Dispatch Team

  • Tap the Dispatch Team button in the menu to open Mercenary Dispatch.

  • Dispatch new teams or monitor active dispatches on the main screen.

  • Tap the (+)Set Up Dispatch to form a new team. Up to 3 teams can be dispatched at once.

  • Select region, difficulty, and mercenaries to create a dispatch team in the Set Up Dispatch screen.

  • Supplies such as potions and bandages significantly increase the success chance of a dispatch.

  • Each mercenary can use up to 2 condition points for explorations that last up to 2 hours.

  • Check the loot collected when the dispatch team returns.

  • Collect the loot obtained by dispatched teams in your mailbox.

[Unique Weapons Added and Related Updates]

◈ New weapons have been added to enhance your combat experience!

  • Two new weapons will now drop in all dungeons. Discover these powerful weapons and expand your tactical options now!

    • Blunderbuss

      • Available for: Ranger, Rogue

      • Capable of adjusting firepower by charge level, ideal for close-range suppression.

    • Great Shield

      • Available for: Fighter

      • A massive shield built for absolute defense and battlefield control. Its constant auto-guard enables strategic defense and control over the battlefield.

  • Additionally, three new unique weapons have been added, available from hidden areas, bosses, and Inferno. The special abilities of two existing unique weapons have been enhanced.

    • New Unique Weapons

      • Flute - Pale Breath

        • Fires a frozen musical note that periodically creates frost zones while moving. The frozen zones restrict the enemies' movement range.

      • Spear - Frostpiercer

        • Fires piercing Frostspike for mid-range attacks. Deals great damage in a narrow area.

      • Spellbook - Grip of Winter

        • Increases the max charging amount. It also increases the maximum number of charges for charging skills by 1.

  • Existing Unique Weapons Update

    • Morning Star - Wrecking Maul

      • A headshot disrupts the enemy's action and shifts the momentum in your favor.

      • Wooden objects can now be destroyed.

    • Heater Shield - Bastion of Disdain

      • While in defensive stance, takes 50% of the damage that allies within 5 m would receive. Successfully blocking magic projectile attacks reflects damage back to the attacker, enhancing the ability to hold the frontline and support the rear.


[Dungeon Update]

◈ Dungeons and systems have been improved to provide an optimized gameplay experience.

  • Some monsters' movements have been improved.

    • Goblin Axeman, Goblin Archer, Goblin Warrior, Goblin Mage

  • A large number of items have been added that drop randomly from defeated bosses or can be found in secret areas.

    • 3 New Unique Weapons

      • Flute

      • Spellbook

      • Spear

    • 8 Glorious Legacy Armors

      • 4 Unique Items

      • 4 Legendary Items

    • Season Armor

  • Matchmaking now reflects your Adventure Rank.

  • Fixed blocked dungeon pathways and awkward object placements.

  • Reduced the skill power of Mimic (Oak Barrel) monsters.

  • Changed mining requirements.

    • Mining no longer requires a pickaxe.

    • Accordingly, pickaxes no longer drop and are no longer sold in shops.

[Shadow Realm]

◈ New monsters have been added to Shadow Realm Stage 4. This will push your limits!

  • Common Monsters: Kobold Hunter, Kobold Warrior, Kobold Thief

  • Mini-Boss Monster: Owlbear

    • Stuns targets with aggressive, heavy blows followed by rapid follow-up attacks.

  • Boss Monster: Manticore

    • A beast-type boss armed with deadly poison that deals severe damage and reduces healing received, as well as causing confusion by blurring vision and disrupting movement control.

    • Leaps onto targets at any distance and unleashes powerful poison attacks while flying.

  • Your mercenaries become stronger to face the new threat!

    • Mercenaries now respond more effectively to boss monsters in the Shadow Realm.

    • Damage taken by mercenaries in the Shadow Realm is reduced by 20%. You have more reliable allies now.


[Soulstone]

◈ Now available from Shadow Realm and Soulstone Chests!

  • Kobold's Cunning I, II, III

    • Increases casting speed by 1% / 1.5% / 2%.

  • Owlbear's Resilience (Legendary)

    • Decreases damage taken from sword, polearm, and axe attacks by 10%.

    • Increases damage taken from mace attacks by 20%.

  • Manticore's Hunger (Unique)

    • Removes poison automatically after 5 sec and recovers health equal to 10% of max health. (Cooldown: 30 sec)

◈ Adjusted the balance of certain Soulstones to improve overall gameplay balance.

  • Golem's Guardian Core (Legendary)

    • Removed the physical defense effect.

  • Demon Berserker's Heart (Legendary)

    • Reduced the increase to attack and move speed.

  • Stalwart Skeleton I, II, III

    • Reduced the increase to physical defense.

◈ Removed overly powerful Soulstones from this season based on player feedback. 

  • Inquisitor's Judgment (Unique)

[Class/Balance]

◈ Several battle and class-related elements have been adjusted. Check the details below!

[General Combat Adjustments]

  • Class Skill Unlock Level Adjustment

    • Players can now experience core class skills earlier and choose from a wider variety of playstyles. Certain key class skills are now available starting from Level 1.

  • Barrier Effect Changes

    • Before: Barriers from potions and skills could stack.

    • After: Barriers created by potions and skills no longer stack, and a new barrier will be applied instead.

      • Example: While under self-protection, using a barrier potion will replace the existing barrier with the potion's effect.

[General Class Adjustments]

        • Staggers targets.

      • Headshot damage increased by 10%.

  • Quickness: 10 → 1

  • Weakpoint Exploitation: 11 → 10

  • Enhanced Reload: 15 → 10

  • Quick Resolution: 13 → 12

  • Enhanced Javelin: 14 → 13

  • The new weapon, Blunderbuss, now benefits from Ranged Mastery, Quickness, Quick Reload, and Enhanced Reload.

  • [New] Explosive Trap (Active)

    • Added new trap deployment skill.

      • Deals damage equal to 150% of physical power to enemies within 1.5 m and stuns them for 1.5 sec when they trigger the explosive trap.

      • Trap Mastery increases the number of deployable traps and their damage.

  • [New] Hellspikes (Active)

    • Throws hellspikes from a distance. Slows enemies and inflicts bleeding.

      • Move speed of targets within the Hellspikes radius reduced by 20% and suffer bleeding. Rangers can take advantage of slowed and weakened enemies.

  • Trap Mastery (Passive)

    • The new active skill Explosive Trap is also affected by Trap Mastery.

      • Explosive Trap: Increases number of uses for trap by 5 and raises trap damage from 150% to 200%.

Rogue
  • Stealth Cloak: 8 → 1

  • Emergency Stealth: 5 → 4

  • Lockpick: 10 → 5

  • King of Thieves: 11 → 10

  • Blightcloud Throw: 15 → 11

  • Hail of Daggers (Active)

    • The damage multiplier for each dagger adjusted from 70% to 50%.

  • Backstab (Passive)

    • Stun duration for successful attacks from behind increased from 1 sec to 2 sec.

    • Stun cooldown increased from 8 sec to 20 sec.

  • Pickpocket (Passive)

    • Pickpocket multiplier for monsters adjusted from 150% to 100%.

  • Ranged Mastery (Passive) → Off-Hand Ranged Weapon Mastery

    • Name changed to clarify that Blunderbuss and Hail of Daggers are not affected.

      • Applies to Throwing Knife, One-Handed Crossbows.

  • Advanced Healer: 11 → 1

  • Blazing Ray: 9 → 6

  • Cleanse: 12 → 9

  • Resurrection: 14 → 12

  • Beacon of Hope: 15 → 14

  • Blazing Ray (Active)

    • Max charges increased from 1 to 2.

  • Blessing of War (Active)

    • Buff duration increased from 5 sec to 10 sec.

  • Light of Healing (Passive)

    • Fixed an issue that caused the effect to be canceled upon attack.

  • Self Protection (Passive)

    • Cooldown increased from 25 sec to 45 sec.

  • Undead Slayer (Passive)

    • Changed from an individual effect to a party effect.

    • Damage dealt to Undead reduced from 40% to 25%.

  • Protection from Evil (Passive)

    • Changed from an individual effect to a party effect.

    • Debuff duration reduced from 30% to 20%.

  • Spell Preparation (Passive)

    • Cooldown increase penalty reduced from 50% to 30%.

◈ Special Summer Event from August 9 to September 2!

  • Hunt monsters in dungeonsto obtain the Mini Beach Parasol!

    • Use the Mini Beach Parasol to craft the following special event items.

      • Fruit Basket

      • Swim Cap Skin

      • Coconut XP Shake (XP Potion)

      • Guava Juice (Uncommon Healing Potion)

  • Swimsuit Crafting Event (August 9 - 24)

  • XP Boosting Event (August 23 - September 2)

  • Event Collection (August 9 - September 2)

    • Crafting the Fruit Basket with the Mini Beach Parasol grants one of the following fruits: Watermelon, Pineapple, Mango, or Banana.

    • Register the fruits you obtain in the Event Collection!

[UI/UX Improvements & Changes]

  • Improved the convenience of the Soulstone and Skill Equip UI/UX.

  • Added a killcam.

    • You can now watch a replay of the moments before your death to analyze and plan for future battles.

  • Added Guild Posts in chat.

    • Promotion tags can now be used in chat to directly access a guild details page.

    • Added a macro button for easily attaching your own guild details.

  • Added a skip option for skin draws. Instant viewing of results without the card-flipping animation is now available.

  • Improved the design and placement of the Mercenary Auto button.

    • Relocated Mercenary AI button to the bottom right next to the minimap.

    • When Mercenary Battle is On, the button displays green. When Off, it is distinctly marked for better visibility and intuitiveness.


[Other Improvements/Updates]

  • Removed season-exclusive effects (additional effects from Altar of Power/ Protection/ Haste/ Recovery, crafting of Bloodbloom Potion, Quicksilver Brew, Stygian Spirits) that were applied during the update on July 09.

  • Adjusted Arena victory conditions from Best of 5 to Best of 3.

  • Added many new crafting recipes alongside the Bard class addition.

    • Added a Bard subcategory under the Glorious Legacy category and 4 new Stylish Artist equipment recipes.

    • Added five new Court Tailor equipment recipes to the Artifact of Unveiling Darkness category.

    • Added Instruments subcategory to the Weapons category and 3 new Bard Epic Weapon recipes.

  • Significantly improved guild rankings.

    • New rules added for earning additional activity score.

    • Activity score in the guild UI is now split into Total Activity Score and Season Activity Score for clearer visibility.

    • Enhanced Guild Ranking UI to make it easier to view ranks and rewards at a glance.

    • Introduced a new guild ranking based on the total Shadow Realm Points of all guild members.

    • Guild ranking rewards are now automatically distributed to all members of a ranked guild based on their ranking.

  • Upgraded weapon-holding poses for lobby characters to create a more lively and immersive experience.

  • A watermark (logo) is now displayed on the in-game HUD.

  • Partial improvements applied to mercenary AI behavior.

  • Redesigned the mercenary AI On/Off UI to improve status visibility.

  • Enhanced display of surprise quest guide messages.

  • Adjusted the rewards of select quests.

  • Updated loading screen tips to reflect changes from the 1.0 update.


[New Items Added]

  • The captivating new ascendable appearance, Altier, the Vorpal Rose, is now available.


[Bug Fixes and Improvements]

  • Reduced build size through graphic optimizations.

  • Improved matchmaking delays caused by the increased number of map types. You can now start the game faster.

  • Improved rendering and quality in the Very Low graphics setting.

  • Fixed an issue where video and audio were not synchronized on low-end devices.

  • Resolved an issue where rank grades in the season results UI did not match those in the record after the season ended.

  • Resolved a crash that occurred in the settings menu under specific conditions.
