As we've announced before, Abyss of Dungeons is finally launching to meet adventurers in Indonesia, Brazil, Thailand, and Mexico!
To welcome our new adventurers, we have made several exciting changes — including moving the Inferno Dungeon to its own category and improving the rank system.
We have also addressed major bugs reported by our adventurers and applied class balance adjustments, convenience improvements, and soulstone stat updates—all aimed at making your adventure more enjoyable and optimized than ever.

New Preseason Update
The preseason, "A Call to Adventure," is starting!
- Season Duration: 2025-06-11 - 2025-08-06 00:00:00 (UTC)
- Season rankings will begin alongside new season objectives. Achieve a high Adventure Rank to earn rewards!
- Main Objectives for the New Season - Defeat a Lich in the Darkest Regions x1 and Conquer the Shadow Realm Region 6.
- For adventurers who played hard in the previous season, your activity results will be converted into Season Coins. After the new season begins, you can use Season Coins to purchase useful items in the Season Shop.
- Content Reset at the Start of the New Season:
- Season Pass, Character Levels, Character Stats, Soulstones, Mercenary Levels, Quests, Dungeons, Adventure Rank, Guild Coins, Season Coins and Passes, Support Items, Season Collections, Premium Shop

- A new Game Pass has been released! Players can now obtain the Ascetic Knight costume and a pose available for permanent use.

New Servers
- South America and Asia servers have been added to the server list on the sign-in screen.
- The following four new languages are now available: Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai, and Spanish (Mexico).
Rank System Update
- The Adventure Rank, previously based on characters and adventure mode, has been unified into a single rank per account.
- The calculation of Rank Points and the UI has been improved.
- The preseason statistics now display only the highest rank achieved among all characters and solo/party ranks.
- Ledgers and statistics for solo/party have been merged into Adventure, and character- or solo/party dungeon-specific ranks will no longer be displayed.
- The ranking criteria for Royal Crown and Crown have been adjusted.
- Royal Crown Rank: Expanding from Top 10 → 50.
- Crown Rank: Expanding from Top 90 → 300.
- The restrictions on Rank Point acquisition have been refined for each dungeon difficulty.
- Normal → No Rank Points from Gold
- Hard → No Rank Points from Platinum
- Nightmare → No Rank Points from Blood Diamond
- Hell → No restrictions
- Inferno → No restrictions
- Rank points no longer decrease upon death in the Bronze rank.
- Rank Points are now given by defeating other players, with bonus points awarded for defeating other players of a higher rank.
Dungeon Update
- The Forgotten Castle Inferno Dungeon has been added.
- The portal connecting from Hell difficulty to Inferno in the Forgotten Castle has been removed, and Inferno can now be selected directly from the dungeon selection screen.
- The Inferno Dungeon will only be open during specific hours.
- The Casual Mode has been added.
- With the addition of the Casual dungeon, where PvP is disabled, the original mode that allows PvP combat is now called Ranked Mode to clearly distinguish between the two.
- No Rank Point rewards are given in the Casual dungeon, and the reward level is lower compared to the Ranked dungeon.
- In Casual mode, rewards from defeating monsters are shared among players who participated in the fight, even if they are not in the same party.
- The Casual Mode is available up to Nightmare difficulty. Dungeons at Hell difficulty or above cannot be played in Casual Mode.
- The adventure results from Casual Mode are not included in overall statistics.
- The Random Dungeon feature has been added.
- When playing Nightmare/Hell difficulty for the Goblin Caves or the Forgotten Castle, the structure of certain dungeon areas has a chance to change for a more unpredictable and exciting adventure.
- New/Returning Adventurer Buff has been added.
- Buff Effect: Equipped gear won't be lost upon failure to escape in Normal, Hard, or Nightmare difficulties.
- Buff Duration: 7 days
- The maximum players for the difficulty of each dungeon have been adjusted.
- The max players for the Goblin Caves are 3 for Normal, 5 for Hard, 6 for Nightmare, and 8 for Hell.
- The max parties for the Forgotten Castle are 2 for Hard, 3 for Nightmare, and 4 for Hell.
- You can now randomly receive surprise quests upon entering dungeons.
- Monster tiers and placements for the Goblin Caves and the Forgotten Castle (Hard) have been adjusted.
- The balance of the Lich monster and its summoned common monsters in Inferno has been buffed.
- Traps such as Floor Spikes Trap (floor, wall) and Swinging Axe Traps have been modified for better recognition.
- Interactive objects in dungeons have been made easier to recognize.
- The effects for an approaching Dark Swarm have been added.
- The effects emphasize the danger of an approaching Dark Swarm, differently for the Goblin Caves and the Forgotten Castle.

New Content
- (Weekly) league begins.
- Starting from the second week of each season, 30–50 adventurers with similar adventure ranks will be grouped into the same league each week.
- The first week of the season does not count.
- Rankings within each league are determined based on the adventure rank points earned throughout the week.
- Rewards are sent to each adventure's mailbox every Monday at 00:00 (UTC) based on their league tiers and rankings, and a new league will be formed based on their current adventure rank.
- Higher league tiers and rankings bring greater rewards.
- Starting from the second week of each season, 30–50 adventurers with similar adventure ranks will be grouped into the same league each week.
- Mission Road Event
- A limited-time 'Mission Road' event starts, where adventures can earn rewards based on their mission progress.
- A hot time event starts, where adventures can get buffs for adventure or combat when signing in at specific times.
UI/UX Improvements & Changes
- A death log system has been added to provide detailed information on what caused adventurers' death (e.g., hit points, skills, weapons) in Darkest Regions, combat in training ground, and battle history.
- Barrier values are now displayed on the character HUD.
- The profile menu UI has been improved.
- Selected poses are now applied in the lobby as well.
- The feature for adding support items to favorites has been added.
- UI for the character selection screen, statistics screen, and adventure difficulty selection screen has been improved.
- Even if the inventory is full, adventures can now press and hold loot items to check their details.
- Quick markers directly visible on items have been added.
- Adventures can now share their location with party members based on items.
- All kinds of inconveniences reported regarding the trade have been addressed.
- Detailed tooltip comparisons for registered and owned equipment items are now possible.
- The magnifying glass button is available on the right side of registered equipment items in the trade UI for comparison.
- Equipment worn in a dungeon where adventurers died is now automatically saved as a preset.
- Presets is available on the advanced search tab in the trade UI.
- The Altar of Time UI now allows access to trade via item tooltips.

- Pickpocketing is now impossible when Oak Barrels, Doors, and Chest Mimics are not activated.
- A player block function has been added to block friend requests, party invitation, and guild invitation from specific players.
- The design of wooden dummies in the training ground has been slightly changed.
- Push notifications are now available for certain in-game content, such as 'Trade item sale period over' and 'New mercenary group arrived.'
- Convenience and effects for costume draw have been improved.
- A new employee has been hired for the costume draw shop.
Bug Fixes and Optimization
- The game has partially been optimized for smoother gameplay on low-end devices.
- Fixed an issue where part of torch was clipped when the camera approached torch effects.
- Fixed an issue where Attack or Shield Block skill actions did not trigger during the Fighter's weaving (dodging) action.
- Reduced instances of crashes in the guild encampment.
